KHARKOV BEARING PLANT (HARP) is one of the biggest manufacturers of bearings in Eastern Europe and the only Ukrainian manufacturer of bearings for railway transport. Since January 2000 the plant has been a part of the UPEC Industrial Group.
The territories occupied by the plant are more than 45 ha. The company staff is about 3 000 of people.
The product range includes more than 500 different types of ball- and cylindrical roller bearings with outer diameter from 30 to 400 mm, manufactured under the well known trade marks such as HARP, HARP-AGRO and HARP-AUTO. Plant facilities afford to produce up to 30 millions bearings annually.
HARP is acknowledged leader in research and manufacturing of ball bearings for agricultural machinery companies and one of the leading suppliers to enterprises of transport engineering and railway industry. The products are well used in auto- and electric engineering industries, as well as in the mining and metals sector industry.
In 2007 to the traditional work directions have been added few more: producing of hot-stamped and turned semi-finished products and spare parts for auto- , railway- and industrial bearings. In 2015 HARP started new project – manufacturing bearing units under the trade mark HARP AGRO UNIT, which are widely used in the domestic and import agricultural machinery.
